About Carolyn
Q: How long have you lived in the San Ramon Valley area? How long have you had your business in the area?
A: I was raised in Walnut Creek and moved to Alamo (via San Francisco, Oakland and London) in 2006. After a long career in tech sales, in 2010 I moved into my passion, which has always been real estate, and have never looked back.

Q: What is something interesting about your company or team that our families and students might not know?
A: I am not looking to be the biggest, only the best. Without exception my buyers and sellers know I negotiated the best terms possible for them.

Q: What do you remember loving about being in elementary school?
A: When I went to Valle Verde Elementary in Walnut Creek I remember loving my teachers. I had really good teachers. I also remember beating all the boys in sports. My kids don’t believe I was athletic, but it’s true!

Connection to Rancho
Q: How did you decide to get involved with Rancho Romero?
A: All three of my girls went to Rancho Romero and had wonderful teachers and a great experience. This was the foundation for the rest of their education so I’m happy to give back!
Q: What are some memorable moments you’ve had while supporting Rancho?
A: I remember jumping right in when we moved to Alamo and working in all my kid’s classrooms, sometimes 3 in one day! I actually loved being a “yard duty” at lunch and helping the kids solve problems.

Q: Why is Rancho so special to you?
A: It’s right on the trail making it a walkable school, and it’s a friendly place where respect is taught.

Q: If you could spend a day in the classroom with the students, what activity would you love to do with them?
A: Music!

Contributions to Rancho:
Q: What do you hope to achieve through your support of Rancho?
A: It’s important to my husband and me that the arts are taught at the elementary school level.

Q: Why do you think it’s important to support local education, especially at the elementary level?
A: Everyone’s foundation is laid when they are young, and with a good experience in school, a person has a much better chance at a happy and productive life.
